Guidelines for levels: Trix for Connectors

The Trix series concentrates on specialised areas in language learning which are relevant throughout a student’s learning career. Trix for Connectors is the only material currently available for exclusive practice in Connectors. It is very difficult to assign a ‘level’ to the material in individual games, but teachers have asked for guidelines.

The list below suggests a suitable minimum level required to understand the content of each game in the program, and for the material to be learned as active language in the student’s bank of knowledge. We include ‘above’ to remind you that more advanced students are definitely included!

It is important to realise that all students will benefit from games marked at a ‘lower level’ than their attainment. Some students might benefit from games marked higher than their ability in order to train a passive knowledge that will help their reading skills.
